Legend Preston
At the beginning of August 2016, Legend Preston from Newark, New Jersey was just being the playful child he should be at 10 years old. He was playing basketball when his ball rolled into the street, he did what any person would have done, he ran after it. But any person would not have suspected they would be pursed by the police with drawn weapons. 10 years old Preston was. "I was scared for my life...thinking that they were going to shoot me." These were the words he used to describe his terrifying unforgettable encounter with the ones who were sworn to protect him. The police stated they chased after Preston with drawn weapons because "he matches the description," of the suspect they were searching for. It is very interesting to say this 10 year old child fits the description of the 20 year old suspect the police officers were pursuing.
